We appreciate the support our community has expressed to us as we continue to navigate through all the legalities of establishing & operating our HOA successfully. Now with the budget approval behind us, we’d like to pause and offer an opportunity for interested neighbors to share their ideas & concerns regarding our beautiful neighborhood! January 7th at 10AM TOWNSEND CHURCH 4519 Dupont Pkwy, Townsend. We would like to ensure we answer as many questions as our time allows, so writing them down ahead of time may help us all to streamline things. HOA Board Meeting
Homeowners are welcome to attend our upcoming HOA Board Meeting, held at the Mamie Warren Senior Center, 1775 Wheatleys Pond Rd in Smyrna. There will be an opportunity for questions and comments during the Open Forum. *Please note: This is NOT a Member Meeting; no voting will take place at this meeting. 2023 Board of Directors Election and Meeting of the Members
NOTICE OF THE 2023 MEETING OF THE MEMBERS OF THE JOCKEY HOLLOW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION The 2023 meeting of the members of the Jockey Hollow Homeowners Association (the “Corporation”) at the Jockey Hollow Subdivision will be September 16, 2023 at 5:30 PM, and will take place upon the open space located within the Jockey Hollow subdivision. The purpose of this meeting is for the association of unit owners to elect a new Board of Directors for Jockey Hollow Homeowners Association. The following is the agenda for the meeting: 1. Call of meeting to order; 2. Approval of previous meeting’s minutes; 3. Treasurer’s Report; 4. Election of new Board of Directors; 5. Resignation of Present Directors; 6. Turnover of All Board of Director’s Records to New Board; 7. Adjourn Meeting. At the meeting, the new Board of Directors will be elected. The slate of candidates has been determined by nominations made as the 2023 Nomination Meeting held on August 6, 2023. There will be a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of seven (7) Directors elected. The slate of candidate is as follows: Bob Blyman George Bowersox Chris Moss Mike Nostrom Elizabeth Darby Doug Ringgold Dan Eastburn Jason Schaffer John Fedele Ed Sonson Ed Lasko Micah Vass The duties of the members of the Board of Directors as contained in the Bylaws of the Corporation may be found in ARTICLE VI of the Bylaws. 2023/2024 Jockey Hollow HOA Committees are Seeking Members
Neighbors,
The Jockey Hollow HOA is seeking homeowner volunteers to fill open seats on the following committees:
Architectural Review Committee - the purpose of this committee is to help the Board make decisions regarding ARC requests received
Standards and Policies Committee - the purpose of this committee is to help the Board establish establish guidelines around Deed Restrictions prioritization and enforcement
Deed Restrictions Update Committee - the purpose of this committee is to help the Board identify what, if any, Deed Restrictions should be updated to reflect the current and future state of the Community
Community Outreach and Aesthetics Committee - the purpose of this committee is to help the Board organize Community events, decorate for hoidays, and provide input on landscaping or other design changes for common areas
